Angie LaTour-Hickman brings more than 32 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry to her role as Chief Operating Officer at Solstice Innovations. Her background spans national carriers across homeowners, NFIP, and private flood; Florida-specific carriers; agencies; TPAs/BPOs; and large-scale consulting engagements across the United States.
She is known for her leadership across operations, sales, underwriting, product implementation, and M&A integration, with a focus on aligning business strategy and execution. Angie joins Solstice at a pivotal stage of growth, bringing deep, hands-on experience with the markets and operational challenges the Equinox™ platform is designed to modernize.
Prior to Solstice, Angie served as Vice President of Sales at Wright Flood, one of the nation’s largest WYO carriers, where she played a key role in the evolution of large-scale flood portfolios. She also held leadership roles with Florida Peninsula and Edison Insurance Companies (Windward Risk Managers), and served as Assistant Vice President of Operations at Fidelity National Property and Casualty (now Stillwater), where she led multi-state teams and consistently delivered strong operational performance.
Angie’s career spans the full insurance lifecycle, including underwriting, claims, and client operations. She is a licensed 220 insurance agent and 620 claims adjuster, bringing a comprehensive, end-to-end perspective to scaling modern, technology-enabled insurance operations.
