TJ is the Co-Founder of Solstice Innovations and a seasoned insurance operations executive with deep expertise in flood insurance and large-scale carrier operations. She brings decades of experience building and scaling operational frameworks that support complex, technology-enabled insurance platforms.
Prior to co-founding Solstice, TJ served as Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Torrent Technologies, where she provided executive oversight of all insurance operations. She played a central role in implementing the business and technical rules that made Torrent one of the most efficient and user-friendly flood insurance systems in the market. Under her leadership, the company scaled to process over $1 billion in annual premium.
Before Torrent, TJ was Chief Operating Officer of National Flood Services, where she oversaw all aspects of insurance operations at what was then the largest flood insurance processing company in the industry.
TJ began her career as an insurance agent with State Farm in Missoula, Montana, and has since held roles across virtually every facet of the insurance lifecycle. She has also been actively involved in industry leadership, serving as President of the National Flood Association (NFA) and as a subcommittee member on FEMA’s Technical Mapping Advisory Council (TMAC).
